Beam quality: The 7Be secondary beam had an intensity of 1000 pps, a momentum acceptance of 0.33%, and a purity of 98.4% Target: 18.5 mg/cm2 of carbon Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)Secondary beams of 7Be, with a mean energy of 40 MeV/nucleon, were produced by fragmentation of a 60 MeV/nucleon 13C beam on a 2 mm thick 9Be target.
