Comments
Beam quality: The 7Be beam intensity at the focal plane was about 10 kHz with 99% purity and intrinsic energy spread of ±0.5 MeV
Target: A high-purity (>99.99%) 27Al target, rolled down to 1-mg/cm2 thickness, was used for the measurements
Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)
The experiment for the 7Be+27Al system was carried out at the radioactive ion beam(RIB)facility at Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi. the 7Be (T1/2=53 days) beams produced through the p(7Li, 7Be)n reaction by bombarding a 12-µm polypropylene [(CH2)n] foil mounted on a rotating target system.
