Beam quality: no data Target: The target of 200 μg/cm3 thick was made by vacuum evaporation of 208Pb (enriched to 98.3 %) onto a 30 μg/cm2 carbon backing Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)The experiments were carried out at the 300 cm heavy ion cyclotron of the JINR Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions. The ions scattered on the target were recorded by a silicon surface-barrier detector having a resolution of 30 keV for the detection of 5.1 MeV a-particles. The detector had a 0.8 x 10 mmZ vertical slit and was located at a distance of 10.5 cm from the target centre. Thus the slit located at the entrance of the detector corresponded to 0.5° and 1.5° intervals in the reaction plane and in the plane perpendicular to the reaction plane, respectively . The angular resolution of the detector was not worse than 1°, and the positioning error did not exceed ±0.2°. Thebeam monitoring was furnished by a second detector positioned at 20° with respect to the beam direction.
