Beam quality: 12C beams from the K500 superconducting cyclotron at energies of 120, 180, 300 and 420 MeV Target: Self-supporting 12C, 40Ca, 90Zr, and 208Pb targets of about 1.0— 1.5 mg/cm2 thickness were used. The isotopic enrichment of the target material was better than 99% Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)The experiments were performed using the S320 magnetic spectrometer of the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University. The beam energy resolution was typically 0.8 MeV for the 420 MeV 12C beam. The accuracy in determining absolute scattering angles was better than 0.05 degrees.
