Beam quality: An 85 MeV radioactive 7Be beam produced via the 7Li(p,n)7Be reaction using a 135 MeV 7Li(+2) primary beam on a LN2-cooled H2 gas cell, with an aluminum degrader in front of the cell to reduce the 7Li beam energy. Target: Self-supporting target enriched to 77% 10B, with 1H, 11B, 12C, and 16O contaminants; thickness of 10B 1.96 mg/cm2. Data obtained: exported from EXFOR (#C0816)At the Cyclotron Institute at Texas A&M University, radioactive beams are produced using transfer or fusion-evaporation reactions induced by a primary beam from the K500 superconducting cyclotron on a cryogenic gas target.
