CommentsBeam quality: Beam currents ranged from 15 to 300 nA. Target: Natural metalic calcium (96.78% 40 Ca), about 125 mcg/cm2 , was evaporated onto 15 mcg/cm2 carbon backing. Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4 ) Experiment performed at Florida State University using super FN tandem Van de Graaff accelerator. The angle setting uncertainty was measuerd to be 0.1 deg. The absolute uncertainty of the cross-sections is 6%.
