Comments
Beam quality: Beam currents of 100-400 nA of 7Li+3 were obtained on target.
Target: Target thicknesses of 80-130 mkg/cm2 were used for angles backward of 10o and 50 mkg/cm2 for angles forward of 10o.
Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)
Beams of Li were extracted from the exchange canal of a duoplasmatron ion source and injected into the 14UD Pelletron accelerator. Targets of enriched 118Sn (>97%) were covered with 5-10 mkg/cm2 of carbon on both sides to reduce target deterioration.
