Beam quality: The 17F secondary beam produced had an intensity of ~ 106 pps, an energy of 86 ± 1MeV and a purity > 99%. Target: A self-supporting 1.0 mg/cm2 thick 208Pb target, whose enrichment was larger than 95%. Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)The measurements were performed at the XTU Tandem Van de Graaf accelerator of the INFN-LNL using the EXOTIC facility for the in-flight production of radioactive nuclear beams. The 17F beam was produced via the inverse kinematics reaction 1H(17O,17F)n with 60 pnA 17O7+ primary beam of Elab = 104MeV impinging onto a gas target filled with pure 1H2 at a pressure of 800 mb and at room temperature, corresponding to a thickness of 0.323mg/cm2.
