Beam quality: This technique yielded beam purities of >99.4% for both 11Li, with intensities of approximately 100 pps.
Target: Graphite targets (99% 12C) with thickness of 178 and 887 mg/cm2, with purities of 99.95% and more than 99.5%, respectively.
Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4)
The secondary 11Li beams were produced by fragmentation of a primary 80 MeV per nucleon 18O(6+) beam of intensity approximately 150 pnA, obtained from the MSU K1200 cyclotron.
