CommentsBeam quality: no data Target: A self-supporting 120 Sn target with a typical thickness of 220 mcg/cm2 . Data obtained: author graph (digitized with GSYS 2.4 ) The experiment was performed usingthe source for polarized lithium and sodium ions (PSI) at the Max-Planck-Institut fur Kernphysik in Heidelberg. At the source the atomic beam is nuclear spin polarized to an extent of 98-100%. However, during acceleration polarization may be lost.
